2021 Kindy Program Hours Change
Next year the program hours for the kindy program will be changed to accommodate more families in our community. The Kindy Club service will also be extended across the week. Find out more here.
2020 Open Day - postponed
Due to the current restrictions surrounding gatherings of people and Covid-19, our planned Open Day for mid-May will be postponed until later in the year. When we know the revised date, we will update this page, so please stay tuned.

Our annual Open Day is a great opportunity to come along to meet our teachers, explore our expansive grounds and learn about our nature based kindergarten program. We look forward to meeting you when it is safe to do so!

We are very proud to be an official Nature Play Qld Forest School and Bush Kindergarten Education Provider- one of only four kindergartens recognised in Queensland.
About Norman Park Community Kindergarten
Norman Park Community Kindergarten is a not-for-profit kindergarten managed by a committee of parents who support our high educator to child ratios of one teacher and two educators to 25 children.
Our community kindergarten is affiliated with The Lady Gowrie, who support us as our Central Governing Body.
We offer a five-day fortnight program from 8.30am to 2.30pm. The two groups are: Kookaburras - Monday, Tuesday, alternate Wednesday and Lorikeets - Thursday, Friday, alternate Wednesday.
